Dear Sport Fans, Competitors, Sponsors and Tenacious Spectators,
Above all, I would like to give my thanks to all those who have helped us with their extremely successful and internationally recognised organisational work to the fact that the right to organise Ultra Triathlon World Championship in 2010 has been awarded to the towns Bonyhád and Dombóvár by the International Ultra Triathlon Association (IUTA). At the same time, I would like to emphasize the support and magnanimous help we have received from local spectators, fans and voluntary collaborators. I am pride that our competitions have become the most popular and attractive events on regional level as a result of pooling local resources.
With participation of 64 competitors coming from 15 countries, our objective is to draw Europe’s and World’s attention to Hungary, namely to South Transdanubium region and to this kind of sport which needs huge power of will and tenacity.
